CARBONO MICROBIANO EDÁFICO EN SUELOS AFECTADOS POR FUEGO Y ENMENDADOS CON DIFERENTES RESIDUOS ORGÁNICOS

In this work we show results of different field experiments about the restoration of burned soils with the application of different organic wastes. After 8 months of wastes application to burned soils, most of the burned amended soils maintained higher levels of Corg than un-amended burned soils. Organic application to burned soils has increased soil microbial biomass, a pool negatively affected by fire. The %Cmic Corg-1 decreases when increases application rates of organic wastes. This percentage increases in soils treated with more degradable wastes.
